These terms and conditions ("Terms") apply to the use of this website ("Website"). By accessing and ordering from this Website you agree to be bound by the Terms set out below. Any contract formed between ourselves shall be governed by English Law and any disputes that arise will be resolved exclusively in the Courts of England.

If you do not agree to these, then do not use our Website. You are permitted to use our Website solely based on these Terms. We reserve the right, at our discretion, to update and/or revise these Terms. Please check periodically for changes.

THIS IS AN AGREEMENT BETWEEN YOU AND A1J LIMITED.
  1. DEFINITIONS
In these Terms, the following words and phrases will have the following meanings: "Order" means a purchase order issued by you to us by these Terms in respect of Products; "Products" means the products which we supply by these Terms; "Order" means a purchase order in respect of the Products issued by you to us.
 
  1. USE OF THIS WEBSITE
    1. So long as you do so by these Terms, you may view and download our Website for your personal use only. However, you must note that we may change, suspend or discontinue the Website or the provision of Products under the Website at any time, including the availability of any feature, database, or content. A1Jewellers may also impose limits on certain features and services or restrict your access to parts or the entire Website without notice or liability.
    2. You are responsible for obtaining and maintaining any equipment or ancillary services needed to connect to, access or otherwise use the Website, including, without limitation, modems, hardware, software, and long-distance or local telephone service.
    3. Any chains displayed with pendants are not included unless otherwise stated.
    4. Our Stud earrings are supplied with rubber pushbacks unless otherwise stated in the description.
    5. All product pictures on our website are just to show you the design and do not reflect an accurate size. For the accurate size of a product please see the dimensions (Length, Width, Thickness and Diameter) and weight of the product.
    6. We take care and time to try and ensure our website is as accurate as possible, both in terms of prices displayed and description of products and services. All measurements displayed are approximate and any errors will be wholly unintentional. We take no responsibility for the colours of products not matching the colour displayed on your monitor as this depends entirely on the colour reproduction and capabilities of your screen. Orders will only be accepted should there be no material errors.
 
  1. REGISTRATION & SECURITY
    1. To participate in the A1Jewellers.com online service, place orders and receive Products via the Website, you must
      • be 18 years of age or over;
      • be resident (and remain resident) in the United Kingdom or the Channel Islands.
      • complete our registration procedure in which you will need to provide us with personal details needed to process your order.
    2. You must ensure that the details which you provide during registration or at any time after registration are correct and complete.
    3. You must inform us immediately of any changes to the information that you provided when registering by contacting us.
    4. We may undertake an identity check to verify your identity before processing orders.
    5. Note: You must provide us with a valid phone number or WhatsApp number and an email address, or else your order will be on hold until you verify it.
 
  1. PRICE MATCH GUARANTEE
    1. We guarantee a price match. If you find the same design and weight at a lower price, we will pay the difference. (Please note precious metal prices fluctuate rapidly. We can only match the price if the metal price is the same at the time of comparison.
 
  1. PRICES & PAYMENT
    1. Please note that Product prices on our website are not fixed and are subject to gold rate fluctuation. The gold rate gets updated daily (subject to gold rate fluctuation) on this website which results in changes in product prices.
    2. The prices which you must pay for the Products that you Order are set out on the Website at the time you place your order, except where we discover an error in the price of the Products you have ordered. In this event, we will inform you as soon as possible after receiving your order and give you the option of reconfirming your order at the correct price or cancelling it. If we are unable to contact you we will treat the Order as cancelled.
    3. We will delay dispatch until receipt of cleared funds.
    4. Product adjustments, or resizing (where applicable) will be made after purchase. A1Jewellers will not be liable for any differences in weight or appearance that may occur as a result of these changes. Resized or altered products are strictly non-refundable.
    5. Many of our rings are unique and available in only one size - this is specified in the product's 'Key Features', and is the default size in the dropdown. If you chose a different size from our drop-down, you are opting to have a complementary size alteration.
    6. Note: All prices are exclusive of any customs and duty/import charges in your country (except the UK), which may or may not be applicable.
      It is the customer's responsibility to find out how much customs and duty/import charges may be by contacting their local body. Unfortunately, we can't advise customers from different countries how much customs and duty/import charges may be in their countries.
 
  1. ORDER & ACCEPTANCE
    1. You may place Orders either (i) using the online process for ordering Products via the Website, or (ii) by calling us by telephone on +44161 721 4924.
    2. When you place an order with us, we need to obtain various details from you so that we can process your order. You must ensure that the details which you provide each time you place an Order are correct and complete.
    3. Once you have placed an order to purchase a product from the website, you will receive an e-mail regarding the status of your order. Some card companies do not verify the cardholder's address. In this case, we may also request that you provide us with the card holder’s photo ID (copy of driving licence or passport), a copy of a credit/debit card statement from which payment is made, and proof of address (utility bill, bank statement etc.) to prevent fraudulent transactions. Failure to provide these documents will result in a cancellation/restocking fee of up to 30%, and a fee based on any adverse movement in the underlying metal price may also apply.
    4. Your Order is an offer to purchase Products from us, which is subject to our acceptance of these Terms. Our acceptance of your Order and the completion of the contract between you and us will take place upon dispatch to you of the Products ordered. Therefore all Orders are subject to verification, us receiving payment and stock availability.
    5. Orders will only be accepted should there be no material errors (see 2.6).
    6. If the Products ordered are not available, you will be notified by us using the contact details you have provided and you will have the option either to (i) wait until the Products are available from stock or (ii) cancel your Order.
    7. Any offers for Products at discounted prices or with additional loyalty rewards, detailed on the Website, may be made available from time to time for you to Order (subject to our acceptance) for a limited period as stated in that offer.
    8. Note: Once an Order is packed, any subsequent alterations or additions to the selected items within the same transaction package will incur a modification fee of £20. Please ensure that your selection is final before confirming your order and checking out, to avoid any additional charges.
 
  1. DELIVERY
    1. Delivery will be made to the address specified by you when you place your Order - the delivery address MUST MATCH your billing address where the card you are paying with is registered. We cannot deliver to any other address. We cannot deliver to P.O Box addresses
    2. We will do our best to dispatch orders the next working day (Monday-Thursday) for Orders where cleared funds are received before 2 p.m., the payment is 3D secure, the address has matched with the billing address and all other security checks have been cleared through our checkout system and the products ordered are in stock. We cannot be held responsible for ensuring stock of each specific Product is available at all times or for delays or failures due to adverse weather, traffic delays, mechanical breakdowns or other circumstances beyond our control.
    3. We will not dispatch any product or goods for which payment is made by an American Express card until funds are cleared in our bank account.
    4. The Delivery fee applicable to your specific order will be set out clearly in the checkout process.
    5. The estimated delivery times for Orders will be specified during the checkout process.
    6. Ownership of the Products you order on the Website shall pass to you on delivery provided that we have received the full payment for such Products.
    7. Please make sure that you check the package very carefully and that it is not damaged or opened already before signing for it. If a package is damaged or opened, please do not accept or sign for it. If you accept a damaged parcel we will not be responsible for any missing goods.
    8. Customers who place successful orders will get notifications when the order is processed and dispatched. We must be informed in writing (sales@a1jewellers.com) if the order is not received within three working days from the dispatch date (orders are normally delivered the next working day in the UK and Europe). If the customer fails to inform us within seven working days of not receiving the goods, the insurance company may refuse to accept a claim after that. We will also not be responsible for any claim made after 14 days from the dispatch date.
    9. Shipping times may vary during bank/public holidays and peak periods. We are not liable for delays that may occur as a result of courier-related matters.
    10. Note: All prices are exclusive of any customs and duty/import charges in your country (except the UK), which may or may not be applicable.
      It is the customer's responsibility to find out how much customs and duty/import charges may be by contacting their local body. Unfortunately, we can't advise customers from different countries how much customs and duty/import charges may be in their countries. The courier company may ask you to pay taxes and duties (if there are any) before delivery.
    11. Note: You must make sure that you have provided us with the correct address (including any flat number, etc.).

      If a customer puts the wrong address on the order and the parcel gets lost, 

      a- Neither we nor the courier company will take responsibility.

      b- You confirm that you will not be able to claim with the card issuer.

    12. Please do not accept any parcels that are damaged, tampered with, or oddly taped. If you accept the parcel, it will void the insurance claim, and you will not be able to make a claim with us or your card provider for any loss.
  1. CANCELLATION, RETURNS & EXCHANGES
    1. You may cancel your Order at any time before dispatch by writing to us at sales@a1jewellers.com. A cancellation/restocking fee of up to 30% and a fee based on any adverse movement of the underlying metal price may apply.
    2. All purchases are non-refundable, and non-exchangeable unless otherwise agreed by us in writing and are subject to our discretion.
    3. If we decide to allow an exchange or refund it is subject to a restocking fee of up to 30% and a fee based on any adverse movement of the underlying metal price may apply.
    4. All returns or exchanges must be made within 14 days from the date of invoice. Returns are only accepted when it is agreed by us in writing on sales@a1jewellers.com before return. Any returns without prior communication in writing will be refused and will go back to the sender.
    5. You must pay for any return delivery costs, except where the wrong item has been sent to you or the item is defective.
    6. You must pay the redelivery cost in the event of an exchange.
    7. Ear and nose jewellery (Earrings & Nose Pins etc..) are strictly non-refundable and non-exchangeable due to hygiene reasons. Pre Owned jewellery is also non-refundable.
    8. The right to cancel under the Distance Selling regulations does NOT apply because the goods we supply are dependent on fluctuations in the financial market and are therefore exempt from the right to cancel (as per Regulation 28 of the Consumer Contracts 2013).
    9. All complaints or disputes should be sent in writing to sales@a1jewellers.com within 24 hours of receiving your parcel.
    10. For klarna, once a customer chooses klarna for payment, klarna does a background check on that customer and takes some details, whether that customer can afford it or not, etc. Based on this check, klarna processes the order or declines it. If klarna declines the payment that means klarna hasn't processed any payment. Meanwhile, the customer is still charged for that payment means that the bank has reserved that payment. Customers should contact their bank for further enquiry
 
  1. 100% MONEY-BACK GUARANTEE
    1. If a product is not as described, then you are entitled to a replacement product or a full refund.
      • To obtain a refund, customers must email sales@a1jewellers.com to give notice of their wish to return and the reason for returning within 7 days of receiving the item and wait for instructions.
        Note: We only give a money-back guarantee if items are not as described or damaged (excluding earrings, nose pins, or any other body jewellery).
      • Products must be new and unused to qualify for the money-back guarantee.
 
  1. PRIVACY POLICY
    1. We will not use the personal data which you provide to us otherwise than our Privacy Policy which can be accessed by clicking on the hyperlink at the bottom of every page of the website.
    2. Your email address is essential for us to supply you with important information such as order confirmations and changes to the service. By registering with A1Jewellers.com, you accept that your email address may be used to supply you with such information.
 
  1. LIABILITY
    1. Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence or fraudulent misrepresentation.
    2. In the absence of any negligence or breach of duty by us, your use of any of the Products other than by their instructions is entirely at your own risk.
    3. You will be responsible for all liabilities, claims and expenses that arise out of the content you submit post or transmit via the Website, or from your use/misuse of the Website or the use/misuse by any person for whom you are responsible or from your violation of the Terms.
    4. A1Jewellers warrants that it will provide the Products with reasonable skill and care, within a reasonable time, and substantially as described in these Terms. A1Jewellers does not make any other promises or warranties about the provision of the Products.
    5. A1Jewellers cannot assume any liability for:
      1. Any viruses or any other disabling features that affect your access to or use of the Website
      2. Any incompatibility between the Website and other websites, services, software and hardware;
      3. Any delays or failures you may experience in initiating, conducting or completing any transmissions or transactions in connection with the Website;
      4. Any modification, suspension or discontinuance of the Website.
    6. If either you or we are in breach of the arrangements under these Terms, neither of us will be responsible for any losses that the other suffers as a result, except those which are a foreseeable consequence of the breach. Losses are foreseeable where they could be contemplated by both you and us at the time you place an order.
    7. IMPORTANT SCAM ALERT

      It has come to our attention that some third-party websites are offering vouchers and coupons on behalf of A1 Jewellers. We want to clarify that this is NOT verified or official communication from A1 Jewellers.

      We do not endorse or participate in any external voucher or coupon promotions. Please be cautious and ensure that you are interacting with the official A1 Jewellers website for all your jewellery needs.

      Beware of impersonators.

      We are also aware of fake websites using our name and credentials to deceive customers. Always visit our official website for genuine information, products and services.

 
  1. INTELLECTUAL PROPERTY RIGHTS
    1. The content of the Website is protected by copyright, trademark, database and other intellectual property rights. You may retrieve and display the content of the Website on a computer screen, store such content in electronic form on disk (but not any server or other storage device connected to a network) or print one copy of such content for your own personal, non-commercial use, provided you keep intact all and any copyright and proprietary notices. You may not otherwise reproduce, modify, copy distribute or use for commercial purposes any of the materials or content on the Website without written permission from A1Jewellers.
    2. No licence is granted to you in these Terms to use any trademark of A1Jewellers or its affiliated companies.
 
  1. GENERAL
    1. A1Jewellers shall be under no liability for any delay or failure to deliver Products or otherwise perform any obligation as specified in these Terms if the same is wholly or partly caused whether directly or indirectly by circumstances beyond its reasonable control.
    2. A person who is not a party to this agreement shall have no right under the Contracts (Rights of Third Parties) Act 1999 to enforce any term of this agreement. This clause does not affect any right or remedy of any person which exists or is available otherwise than under that Act.
    3. These Terms are subject to English law. We will try to solve any disagreements quickly and efficiently. If you are not happy with the way we deal with any disagreement and you want to take court proceedings, you must do so within the United Kingdom.
    4. Nothing on this site constitutes financial or investment advice. We are a jeweller's site & blog offering guides, tips and tools. A1Jewellers can therefore accept no liability for you acting upon the information contained on the site. We can not be responsible for the content on any linked sites.
